Cyberdyne Care Robotics GmbH has received the approval of sufficient potential for testing according to § 137e SGB V for the method "neuromuscular feedback therapy using HAL for the treatment of paraplegic patients".

Federal joint Committee (G-BA) was established as the highest body of the self-governing German health care system. To accept the neuromuscular feedback therapy by paraplegia as part of the statutory health care the application for testing was submitted. In the meeting of the Federal joint Committee on February 3rd, 2022, resolution passed to initiate the application for testing. In the next step, the consultation procedure for testing will be initiated and the subcommittee for method evaluation will be commissioned to carry it out.

As this application can potentially make HAL treatment (Neuromuscular Feedback Therapy) accessible for a much wider range of patients in Germany, we are looking forward to working closely with G-BA to accelerate the process of the application.
